LO: (contextualise) to describe examples of stones as symbols

Today we thought about different examples of stones used as symbols, we initially found this tricky to think of examples but we found some examples, like: grave stones, war memorials, churches, stone henge. We discovered that a lot of stone symbols are used to remember events or people. 

We then watched a video showing Joshua leading the Israelites across the water and the way they used stones to remember God’s promise to them.
