In today's lesson, we completed our sea turtle programs that we started last week. We thought carefully about the modifications that we could make and used debugging skills to ensure that it all worked as planned. We then downloaded our programs onto the Micro:bits to see if they ran as designed.

 Year 4 looked at a variety of pin sting and sketches by Van Gogh, noticing and discussing the types of lines he used in his work. They then practised  making different types of lines with sketching pencils. They then chose 2 different pencils and sketched one of Van Gogh’s paintings. 

 Year 4 practised numbers to 31 to help them say what the temperature was in different places in France. They sang their song and practised saying sentences before they wrote down the weather and the temperature  in different places using a map and a images of different weather types.
